About you:

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager who has worked in a multi-site manufacturing organisation to join our leadership team reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer. As the Finance Manager you will be responsible for leading and developing the finance function and acting as a strategic business partner to the CEO and Senior Managers. This role will play a critical part in delivering accurate financial and strategic insight to drive continuous improvement and growth.

You’ll have strong leadership qualities, build rapport with all members of the organisation with ease and be comfortable presenting to senior leaders.

The details:

The Finance Manager will lead a small team to drive accountability, personal development and high performance, and you will also oversee the following and more:

• Manage the financial reporting for the organisation including monthly financial and management reporting. Generate actionable business insights.
• Presentation of financial results and insights monthly to CEO and Senior Managers
• Contribute to strategic initiatives including acquisitions, capital investment and risk management
• Liaise with external stakeholders such as accountants, advisors, insurance and banking partners
• Ensure compliance with all relevant statutory requirements, accounting standards and company policies.
• Lead annual budgeting and rolling financial forecasting processes.
• Champion the Integrated Business Planning process for finance.
• Driving the optimisation of accounts payable, accounts receivable and inventory to reduce working capital
• Ensure compliance with all relevant statutory requirements and regulations.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

Be CA or CPA Qualified with strong technical foundation and broad commercial accounting experience within the FMCG or similar industry

5-10 years experience in similar roles.

Important Info –

• The role will be predominantly based in Geelong, Victoria. Some travel to our other sites may be required from time to time.
