Provide management with timely financial analysis for effective decision-making. Prepare all statutory and management requirements of InterContinental Hotels Group and Owners. Perform professional accounting duties to maintain control over expenses, income, assets and liability of the hotel to ensure the security of the assets of the company in a centralized accounting environment.
A little taste of your day-to-day:
Every day is different, but you'll mostly be:
- Works with superior in the preparation and management of the department’s budget.
- Cooperates, coordinates and communicates with other departments in matters concerning accounting related matters and internal control.
Demonstrate Awareness of OH&S policies and procedures and ensure all procedures are conducted safely and within OH&S guidelines.
Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures to improve the work flows in accounts department.
Prepares monthly position of actual results against budget, analyse results and recommend to Director of Finance/Executive Committee measures required to meet budget.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to deal with difficult interactions and work under pressure
- Minimum 2 Years of related work experience
- Flexibility to respond to a variety of different work situations
