Backend Developer - Interfell (Remote)

The Backend Developer is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining server-side applications and services. This role focuses on ensuring performance, scalability, and security while supporting integrations with frontend applications and external systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs
• Build scalable systems to handle high volumes of data and requests
• Implement security and data protection best practices
• Optimize performance and troubleshoot backend issues
• Integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
• Manage databases, schemas, and queries
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code
• Participate in code reviews and technical documentation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams

Requirements

• Experience in backend development or similar roles
• Proficiency in at least one backend language or framework
• Experience building RESTful APIs or similar services
• Knowledge of SQL or NoSQL databases
• Understanding of system design and scalability principles
• Familiarity with version control systems
• Experience integrating applications with external services
