Garner’s mission is to transform the healthcare economy, delivering high-quality and affordable care for all.
We are fundamentally reimagining how healthcare works in the U.S. by partnering with employers to redesign healthcare benefits using clear incentives and powerful, data-driven insights. Our approach guides employees to higher-quality, lower-cost care, creating a system that works better for everyone. Patients achieve better health outcomes, employers spend healthcare dollars more effectively, and physicians are rewarded for delivering exceptional care rather than performing more procedures.
Garner is one of the fastest-growing healthcare technology companies in the country. Our products are trusted by the most sophisticated employers and providers in the industry, and we are building a team of talented, mission-driven individuals who are motivated to make a meaningful impact on healthcare at scale.
About the role:
We are seeking an exceptional Product Manager to join our Search area. This team is the engine behind Garner’s core mission: connecting members to high quality providers.
In this role, you will work on our search experience, including owning how our search experience works for certain market segments (e.g. health systems). Your mission is to transform complex, bespoke client requirements into a standardized, scalable product suite that realizes Garner’s vision of improving the healthcare ecosystem.
Where you will work:
This role will be based in our New York City office (in the Financial District). You must be willing to work in the office 3 days per week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
What you will do:
Core Responsibilities
- Define a long-term product roadmap that balances unique client needs with platform efficiency. You will help us move beyond one-off customizations to build a repeatable, scalable system for our most complicated clients.
- Architect a seamless UX that distills complex logic into clear interactions. You will ensure members clearly understand how to navigate their benefits and why they should choose the providers we recommend.
- Drive new product and feature development from ideation to launch. Define success metrics for every initiative, ensuring we have the data in place to measure outcomes and rallying the team around what winning looks like and how we get there.
The ideal candidate has:
- 3+ years of Product Management experience, ideally on a search product or within a complex B2B2C healthcare environment.
- A high degree of autonomy and an "owner" mindset with the ability to take a complex, unscoped problem to resolution.
- Ability to partner deeply with engineers and data scientists to architect complex logic systems and determine how backend data translates into seamless member-facing experiences.
- A strong analytical foundation and data-first approach to decision-making, using metrics to navigate difficult trade-offs and build a clear case for product direction.
- Experience translating patterns across disparate client requirements and translating them into a unified, scalable platform.
- Ability to use SQL, Figma and AI prototyping tools to solve problems independently.
- Exceptional communication skills, with a specific ability to distill technical complexity into clear narratives for designers, engineers, clients, and executives.
- Desire to be part of a high-performing team that operates with intense urgency, a strong sense of individual accountability, and a commitment to authentic feedback.
This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing company in a transformative role, helping shape the future of healthcare.
