We are currently looking for a Senior Global Product Manager (Downstream), who wants to take part in taking our EndoIntelligence area to the next level. You will be responsible for driving downstream activities to accelerate our growth, deliver on concrete initiatives and take part in developing an area of high strategic importance for Ambu. Focus is on ensuring that we leverage our current solutions in an effective manner, partnering with our Sales Territories and undertaking projects that professionalize and scale our business, as EndoIntelligence continues to play a more prominent role in our portfolio.

 

You will work alongside the established team within EndoIntelligence and collaborate closely with other downstream colleagues, as well as pipeline, upstream and strategy, as we deliver on the overall vision. You will join an international and highly dedicated team, but also have strong ties in our Sales Territories, Branding and Communication, Commercial Excellence, etc. The position is based at Ambu’s headquarters in Ballerup, Denmark. Some traveling should be expected as a part of the job.

Our new Senior Global Product Manager (Downstream) will be instrumental in driving forward our agenda and accelerate our growth. Your responsibilities will include:

 

• Design and deliver an ambitious growth strategy for our EndoIntelligence solutions, including executing on concrete initiatives that bring out the full value of our portfolio, advances our position in the market, and builds brand loyalty
• Collaborate with other product management teams on positioning and great solution execution, and other colleagues across Global Marketing (Commercial Excellence, Branding and Communication, and Medical Affairs & Market Access) on how to maximize in-market impact short- and long-term
• Ensure strong collaboration with our Sales Territories, as we advance our strategy, continue building momentum and grow our capabilities with digital and software
• Be the voice of our customers and implement initiatives as we transform Ambu into selling solutions, partnering more with health systems and shift to a larger focus on software solutions
• Lead efforts on professionalizing and advancing our go-to-market approach for our EndoIntelligence solutions, incl. implementing initiatives to track and measure success of new offerings to customers

 

 

Key competences
To succeed in this role, you will bring strong downstream product management experience and combine it with commercial acumen and the ability create results in a growing area. We imagine you bring:

• Deep experience in downstream product management across hardware, software, and AI—ideally at the intersection of these domains
• International experience working with the US and EU5 markets 
• Proven ability to clearly communicate the value proposition of combined hardware and software solutions.
• Extensive experience in MedTech or a closely related industry 
• High degree of autonomy in ambiguous environments, defining direction where roadmaps are not yet established and setting a high bar for what “good” looks like.
• Understanding of hospital systems and previous engagement with both clinical- and non-clinical stakeholders, to navigate the landscape and be their voice in the organization
• Excellent collaboration skills, as the role is key for all other product management areas and relies on strong alignment across various functions
• A curious and positive mindset, that sees opportunities and wants to be part of shaping an area
