This is a fantastic opportunity for a Frontend Developer with 1+ years of experience to further develop their skills and gain exposure within a highly regulated, fast-paced environment.

You will be employed by nology and placed with our client, working on business-critical applications while continuing to build your technical expertise with the support of a dedicated team.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance frontend applications using React and TypeScript
• Build scalable and reusable UI components
• Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to deliver high-quality features
• Integrate frontend applications with REST APIs and backend services
• Apply best practices in coding, testing, and performance optimisation
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues, contributing to continuous improvement

Tech Stack You’ll Be Using:

• Languages: TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML, CSS
• Frameworks & Tools: React, REST APIs
• State Management: Redux or similar
• Version Control: Git
• Collaboration: Jira, Confluence

Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

• 1+ years of hands-on experience in frontend development (commercial experience preferred)
• Strong experience with React and TypeScript
• Solid understanding of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Experience integrating with RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with state management tools (e.g. Redux or similar)
• Experience working in agile development environments
• Strong attention to detail, particularly within data-sensitive or regulated environments
• Ability to work in a hybrid London-based role
• A proactive mindset with strong problem-solving skills and a desire to continually improve
