Finance Manager (Tax/Accounting)

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Finance Manager to oversee Accounting, Tax, Audit, Treasury for Indian Legal entity while acting as a strategic partner to management.

Key Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities

• Finance Governance & Policies
  • Preparation and implementation of finance rules and policies
• Budgeting & Planning
  • Consolidation and submission of budgets to corporate.
• Accounting & Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (Companies Act 2013, Income Tax Act, GST, etc.)
  • Support statutory, internal, and tax audits
• Taxation
  • Review advance tax filings and GST-related matters
• Financial Operations
  • Oversee vendor payments, contracts, and finance systems
  • Review petty cash and banking activities
  • Effective utilization of fund.
• Reporting & Closing
  • Support month-end/year-end close activities
  • Provide financial data to consultants (e.g., transfer pricing, audits)
  • Payroll checks, PF, PT return filling.
  • Intercompany balance reconciliation.
• Stakeholder Coordination
  • Coordinate board meetings, AGM, and corporate compliance activities
• Asset & Systems Control
  • Manage fixed asset verification and system/process improvements
• Team Oversight
  • Supervise Regular & Outsourced accounting staff and resolve operational issues (up to 5 employees)

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/master’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or MBA.
• Professional certifications will be added advantage: CA, CPA, CMA, CFA.
• 8–15 years of experience in Business Finance or Entity Controller roles.
• Strong knowledge of advanced Excel/Power BI skills.
