Associate Art Director

As an Associate Art Director, you will have a history of developing award-winning design work and possesses the ability to develop others to do the same. You are somone who is passionate about design with the ability to generate visually striking graphic solutions across multiple mediums.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned. The duties and responsibilities as outlined in this Job Description may be changed from time to time by the Corporation, as it deems necessary, without further notice to the Employee.

• Translate client marketing and branding strategies into innovative and impressive campaigns that stimulate targeted audiences

• Design compelling graphic solutions across live environments, virtual experiences, digital and print

• Present concepts to clients and internal stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

• Be responsible, organized and accountable your work and deadlines

• Understanding of production methods of execution

• Ability to mentor junior team members

• Communicate feedback to team members in a constructive fashion

• Collaborate within the Creative department and across the organization

• Communicate with clarity, confidence, competence, professionalism and authenticity

• Stay current with design trends and apply them to work where relevant

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's degree (B. A. or B.F.A.) from four-year college or university in Graphic Design, Art, or other relevant area; 6+ years of relevant design experience; 3+ of experience in experiential marketing or similar experience successfully executing projects and programs and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Manages up to 2 subordinates. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include assisting in training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance, addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should be an expert in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office Suite/PowerPoint, and Keynote.
