Role at a glance
At Deligo, hardware is not just an accessory. It is a critical part of our business defensibility. As we transition our self-checkout kiosks from in-house assembly to scalable mass production, we need a highly skilled Industrial Designer to take full ownership of our 3D CAD modeling processes. By stepping into this role, you will take over this crucial block of work, allowing you to shape the physical future of our products and contribute to the next generation of self-checkout kiosks.. How you’ll make a difference
You will be the primary owner of industrial design and 3D modeling at Deligo, creating beautiful, production-ready designs that successfully transition into manufacturing
You will create and maintain high-quality CAD models and essential technical drawings for our hardware components and ensure that every design is not only beautiful but mechanically sound for the factory floor
Your immediate focus will be Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and you’ll be challenged to independently identify ways to cut manufacturing lead times and reduce assembly time
You will work closely with the CPO and report directly to the Head of Hardware
You are expected to bring superior design knowledge to the team, proactively pitching design ideas, and pushing back with innovative solutions to elevate our hardware capabilities

You combine an exceptional taste for beauty with an engineering mindset, consistently delivering products that balance appeal, usability, and technical excellence
You hold a BSc or MSc diploma in Industrial Product and Design Engineering or comparable
You have a background in designing complex, multi-material physical products for high-volume manufacturing in a fast-paced production environment
You have a proven track record of using CAD software (Solidworks preferred) delivering highly accurate, production-ready models
You are proficient in creating clear, accurate, and production-ready technical drawings and documentation
You thrive in an agile startup environment using the "80-20 rule": you know how to design rapidly to manufacture, test, and refine

Location: Budapest - we operate with an office-first approach, typically requiring 3-4 days per week in-office
