Hightop Health is seeking a Clinical Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring high-quality clinical team members for Hightop Health, including advanced practice providers, therapists, and psychiatric physicians. This role supports the VP of Talent & Candidate Experience in executing a clinician-centric talent strategy that aligns with Hightop Health’s mission, values, and growth plans.
The Clinical Recruiter manages the full recruitment lifecycle for assigned roles: sourcing candidates, screening, coordinating interviews, managing candidate experience, guiding offers and acceptances, and maintaining accurate recruitment data. The Clinical Recruiter works closely with clinical leadership, hiring managers, HR, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and effective hiring for current and future clinical needs.
Primary Objectives and Essential Duties:
Clinical Recruiting & Candidate Management
Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for clinical roles, including advanced practice providers, therapists, and psychiatric physicians (and other clinical positions as assigned).
Review applications and resumes, conduct initial phone screens, and assess candidate qualifications, fit, and interest.
Present qualified candidates to the Director of Clinical Recruitment & Onboarding Experience and hiring managers with clear summaries and recommendations.
Coordinate interviews (virtual and on-site), ensuring candidates and interviewers have all necessary information and materials.
Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the process, providing timely updates and ensuring a professional, clinician-centric candidate experience.
Sourcing & Pipeline Development
Proactively source clinical candidates through job boards, professional associations, academic programs, residency/fellowship programs, networking, and social media.
Build and maintain talent pipelines for key clinical roles in current and future markets.
Develop and execute outreach campaigns to engage passive and active candidates, emphasizing Hightop Health’s clinician-centric culture and mission.
Assist with organizing and participating in recruitment events such as job fairs, conferences, and virtual information sessions.
Interview Process & Offer Management
Coordinate structured interview processes, including scheduling, interview guides, and post-interview feedback collection.
Support hiring managers and clinical leadership in evaluating candidates and making data-informed hiring decisions.
Partner with the Director of Clinical Recruitment & Onboarding Experience and HR/Compensation to support offer development that aligns with internal equity and market competitiveness.
Communicate offers to candidates, support negotiations within established guidelines, and manage acceptances/declines.
Assist in the handoff from recruitment to onboarding, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
Work closely with the Director of Clinical Recruitment & Onboarding Experience to execute recruiting strategies aligned with workforce plans and growth goals.
Collaborate with clinical leadership, operations, HR, and credentialing teams to understand staffing needs, role requirements, and timelines.
Serve as a point of contact for hiring managers regarding search status, candidate pipelines, and time-to-fill expectations.
Provide feedback from candidates and the market to improve job postings, messaging, and overall recruitment processes.
Compliance, Systems & Reporting
Ensure all recruitment activities comply with applicable employment laws, equal opportunity guidelines, and Hightop Health policies.
Use applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HRIS tools to manage requisitions, candidate records, and communication.
Maintain accurate, up-to-date recruitment data and metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, pipeline activity, source effectiveness).
Prepare and share regular status updates and basic reports with the Director of Clinical Recruitment & Onboarding Experience and other stakeholders as requested.

Education/Licensure:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Healthcare Administration, Business, Psychology, or related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Skills and Work Experience Requirements:
2+ years of recruiting experience required; prior experience recruiting clinical or healthcare professionals strongly preferred.
Experience recruiting clinicians such as advanced practice providers, therapists, and/or physicians preferred.
Experience working in a healthcare, behavioral health, or medical practice environment is a plus.
Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms required.
Strong sourcing skills using job boards, social media, networking, and other tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple searches and priorities simultaneously.
Professional, dependable, and comfortable interacting with candidates and leaders at all levels.
