Procurement Specialist

Remote Recruitment is hiring a Procurement Specialist to manage supplier relationships and purchasing activity for a UK-based business. Working fully remotely from South Africa, you'll ensure cost-effective procurement while maintaining quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement processes from sourcing through to purchase order and delivery
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers in line with business requirements
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with existing and new suppliers
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues proactively
• Maintain procurement records and support compliance and audit requirements

What You'll Need

• 3+ years of procurement or purchasing experience, ideally in a UK-facing role
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
• Familiarity with procurement systems and contract management
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail
• Reliable internet and a professional home workspace

What's on Offer

• Salary: R27,000 per month
• Full-time, permanent remote position
• Working hours: 09:00–17:00 UK time (11:00–19:00 SAST)
