🌟 You are an experienced Senior Network Security Automation Engineer who drives security strategy within your engagements and influences broader practice standards. You shape how security automation is designed and delivered, mentor senior team members, and lead the most complex security initiatives.

Expectation: Proficient daily use of AI-powered tools integrated into core workflows. Ability to evaluate AI tool effectiveness, identify appropriate use cases, and contribute to team-level AI adoption. Expected to champion AI-assisted practices within the project team.

Relevant Platforms: Proficient in: GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, OpenAI Codex. Regular use of: AI-powered SIEM/SOAR platforms, AI threat detection and response, intelligent vulnerability scanning (Snyk AI, SonarQube AI), AI-driven compliance monitoring. Leverages Claude, ChatGPT, and similar LLMs for security policy analysis, threat modeling, and incident documentation

 

### KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Drive security automation strategy for complex engagements, embedding an audit-by-construction methodology into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous compliance.

  • Architect scalable security solutions for cloud-native and hybrid environments, specializing in the design and governance of secure Azure Landing Zones.

  • Lead the design of enterprise-grade security platforms, engineering robust tenant isolation strategies to mitigate cross-tenant risks in multi-tenant architectures.

  • Contribute to compliance strategy and data privacy by implementing automated PII protection mechanisms (e.g., masking, tokenization) and preparing environments for frictionless audits.

  • Govern identity and access management by developing comprehensive Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) models that enforce the principle of least privilege across all systems.

  • Mentor senior and mid-level security engineers, developing talent.

  • Manage stakeholder relationships, providing security risk insights to leadership.

  • Champion security automation best practices and continuous improvement.

  • Evaluate emerging security technologies and threat landscapes.

  • Lead red team/blue team exercises and security assessment programs.

  • Contribute to compliance strategy and audit preparation.

  • Design security metrics and reporting frameworks.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, IT, or related field.

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in network security and security automation.

  • Expertise in designing and implementing enterprise security automation platforms.

  • Deep knowledge of security operations, threat detection, and incident response.

  • Experience with security architecture for cloud-native applications.

  • Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.

  • Advanced understanding of compliance frameworks and regulatory requirements.

  • Experience with security risk assessment and management.

  • Outstanding English communication skills.

  • ### ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE DESIRED
  • Advanced certifications (CISSP, CISM, GIAC Expert-level).

  • Experience with security program management.

  • Knowledge of AI-driven security operations.

  • Track record of building security automation teams.
