As a full-time Director of Fleet Purchasing at SIXT, you will lead the strategic vision and execution of our vehicle purchasing operations across the U.S., overseeing a high-performing team while shaping the fleet decisions that fuel our growth. YOUR ROLE AT SIXT

• You support the Head of Vehicle Purchasing by setting strategic direction for the fleet purchasing department, leading a team of analysts and managers to execute against national fleet goals
• You manage end-to-end fleet purchase demand planning, including allocation of purchase volumes across vehicle categories and regions, ensuring alignment with the Yield Plan and key financial and supply chain objectives
• You liaise with senior fleet vendors including OEMs and dealerships to negotiate best-in-class pricing, forge strategic partnerships, and represent SIXT at the highest levels at industry and partner events
• You maintain full ownership of contract-related data integrity, ensuring accuracy, process compliance, and accessibility of all purchasing data across internal systems and stakeholders
• You receive executive-level visibility by preparing and presenting fleet purchase demand reports, strategic proposals, and purchasing initiatives directly to Senior and C-Suite Leadership
• You assist in driving cross-functional alignments across Yield & Pricing, Operations, Fleet Controlling, and Car Control by developing sophisticated financial models and ensuring national fleet demand remains accurate and strategically positioned

 

YOUR SKILLS MATTER

• Experience You have 7+ years of experience in fleet purchasing, demand planning, supply chain, or a related field, with at least 3 years in leadership role managing teams and vendor relationships
• Education You have a bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or Accounting; an MBA or advanced degree is a plus 
• Technical Proficiency You are proficient in Microsoft Office Applications particularly Excel and have extensive experience leveraging tools such as QuickSight and AWS for advanced financial modeling, forecasting, and data-driven decision making
• Soft Skills You demonstrate exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and executive communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization and drive cross-functional alignment
• Commitment to Excellence You are a results-driven leader who operates with a high degree of ownership, proactively identifies opportunities for improvement, and consistently delivers outcomes that move the business forward
• Travel You are flexible and willing to travel domestically and internationally to represent SIXT at industry events, OEM engagements, and leadership meetings as needed
