Review Project Documentation 

Review Material Submittals, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and Method Statements related to civil / Mechanical / Electrical  works to ensure compliance with project requirements and provide feedback to Works Agency QA/QC Manager

 

Civil Inspection Activities

Conduct inspections at various stages of construction to verify that materials, equipment, and workmanship comply with project specifications and standards in accordance with approved Inspection and Test Plans (ITP).

• Verify that the construction activities align with approved drawings, specifications, and relevant codes.

• Inspect and verify the quality of materials, including soil, aggregates, asphalt, concrete, and other construction materials used in roads, drainage systems, and related infrastructure.

• Monitor construction activities, including but not limited to:

o Earthworks (cutting, filling, compaction, etc.)

o Asphalt paving and concrete works.

o Installation of drainage pipes, culverts, and manholes

o Retaining walls, bridges, Tunnels, Dams and related structures

• Participate in final inspections to confirm that all work meets the required quality standards before the handover phase.

 

 

     

     

    Qualifications

    Education: Diploma or degree in Civil / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or a related field.

    • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in QC roles related to road and infrastructure construction.

    Certifications:

    • Relevant certifications in construction quality control (e.g., ISO 9001 Lead Auditor)-/ CSWIP, BGAS/ASNT / IEC, NEC, or local standards / Proficiency in material testing standards (e.g., BS, ASTM, AASHTO
