You will:  

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Collaborate with product managers, other software engineers, UX Designers and security experts to build product features that meet business objectives and security standards.
  • Implement logging, monitoring, and auditing capabilities to ensure visibility and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Continuously optimize and improve the performance, security, and scalability of the platform through code reviews, testing, and refactoring.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies and leverage them to drive innovation and improve our platform.

Qualifications

 

  • 7+ years of experience as a backend software engineer with a strong track record of building and maintaining high-quality, scalable software systems.
  • Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Go, Java, or Python.
  • Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
  • Understanding of authentication and authorization protocols, standards, and best practices.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, and familiarity with IAM services and features.
  • Leverage AI/ML tools to accelerate development cycle, improve coverage, detect anomalies, and reduce manual testing overhead.
  • Test driven development mindset and experience
  • Knowledge of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL), caching mechanisms, and distributed systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

For positions in this location, we offer a base pay of $143,200 - $243,400, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs. Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located and is subject to change based on work location.
