We are recruiting on behalf of a growing organisation based in Paris for a senior finance leader to take ownership of their Accounting, Billing, and Tax functions. This is a high-impact role suited to a technically rigorous finance professional who is equally comfortable setting strategy and rolling up their sleeves. You will be joining a collaborative leadership team with genuine scope to shape processes, build capability, and drive financial integrity across the business. This is a fully on-site position based in central Paris.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the end-to-end accounting function, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with French GAAP and IFRS standards
  • Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including preparation and review of financial statements
  • Own the billing operations, ensuring invoicing processes are efficient, accurate, and aligned with commercial agreements
  • Manage all aspects of tax compliance and reporting, including corporate tax, VAT, and local levies; liaise with external advisors as required
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors, tax authorities, and relevant regulatory bodies
  • Develop and maintain robust internal controls and financial reporting frameworks
  • Partner with the CFO and broader leadership team to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
  • Drive continuous improvement across accounting systems and processes, identifying automation and efficiency opportunities
  • Manage, mentor, and develop a team of accounting and billing professionals
  • Monitor changes in tax legislation and accounting standards to ensure proactive compliance

Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; professional qualification (CPA, CCA, DSCG, or equivalent) strongly preferred
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal)
  • Significant experience in a senior accounting or finance leadership role, ideally within a multi-entity or international environment
  • Strong technical knowledge of French accounting standards (Plan Comptable Général) and tax regulations
  • Proven experience managing VAT compliance and corporate tax filings in France
  • Demonstrable experience leading and developing finance teams
  • High proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Sage, or equivalent)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience operating within a regulated industry
  • Exposure to IFRS reporting in addition to French GAAP
  • Prior experience working in or alongside a multinational group structure
  • Experience implementing or improving accounting systems and tools
  • Familiarity with transfer pricing principles

Benefits

  • Base Salary: €80,000 to €105,000 gross per annum, commensurate with experience
  • Benefits: Mutuelle (complementary health insurance), Prévoyance (supplemental life and disability cover), meal vouchers (Tickets Restaurant), and participation/profit-sharing scheme where applicable under French law
  • Leave: 25 days paid annual leave (congés payés) in line with French statutory entitlements, plus RTT days applicable to the role

Nous recrutons pour une organisation en forte croissance basée à Paris un(e) Responsable Comptabilité, Facturation & Fiscalité. Ce poste stratégique offre l'opportunité de piloter les fonctions financières clés, d'optimiser les processus et d'accompagner le développement de l'organisation au sein d'une équipe de direction collaborative.

Poste basé à Paris, 100 % présentiel.

Principales responsabilités

  • Superviser la comptabilité générale et les clôtures mensuelles, trimestrielles et annuelles, dans le respect du PCG et des normes IFRS.
  • Garantir la qualité du reporting financier et des contrôles internes.
  • Piloter les activités de facturation et assurer la conformité fiscale (IS, TVA, déclarations réglementaires).
  • Être l'interlocuteur principal des auditeurs externes et des administrations fiscales.
  • Participer aux activités de budget, prévisions et planification financière aux côtés du/de la DAF.
  • Améliorer les systèmes et processus comptables, notamment via l'automatisation.
  • Encadrer et développer une équipe comptable et facturation.
  • Assurer une veille réglementaire et comptable continue.

Profil recherché

  • Diplôme en Comptabilité, Finance ou équivalent ; DEC, DSCG, CPA ou qualification similaire apprécié.
  • Expérience confirmée en direction comptable ou financière, idéalement dans un environnement international ou multi-entités.
  • Solide maîtrise du PCG, de la fiscalité française et des obligations TVA.
  • Bonne connaissance des normes IFRS.
  • Maîtrise courante de l'anglais, à l'écrit comme à l'oral.
  • Expérience en management d'équipes financières.
  • Maîtrise d'un ERP (SAP, Oracle, Sage ou équivalent).

  • Connaissance des prix de transfert.
  • Participation à des projets d'amélioration ou de transformation comptable.

Rémunération & Avantages

  • Salaire : 80 000 € à 105 000 € brut annuel selon expérience.
