Job Description
Inside Sales — Texas & Florida
Drive revenue across two of the fastest-growing hardscape markets in the US — remotely. Own dealer and contractor relationships across TX and FL, running a structured call cadence, converting inbound leads, and executing outbound prospecting campaigns.
- Maintain 40+ CRM-logged touches per week across TX and FL dealer and contractor accounts
- Convert a minimum of 30% of campaign leads into active sales opportunities
- Conduct virtual product presentations, pricing discussions, and promotional follow-ups
- Identify and develop new accounts through outbound prospecting and territory research
- Train dealer staff remotely on product knowledge, selling systems, and installation best practices
Outside Sales — Des Moines, Iowa
Based in Des Moines, build and manage a local field territory through in-person dealer visits, contractor training, merchandising audits, and new business development. Iowa is a growing market with significant upside for the right rep.
- Execute a structured weekly territory plan covering greater Des Moines and surrounding markets
- Conduct in-person dealer visits, display audits, and product sample placements to brand standard
- Develop new contractor and dealer relationships through direct prospecting and networking
- Deliver timely follow-up and professional customer communication throughout the sales cycle
- Use CRM and Power BI data to track territory performance and report on pipeline health
Both Roles
- Achieve forecasted territory growth targets and report weekly against KPIs
- Complete all required product, sales, and skills training on schedule
- Collaborate with the regional team, marketing, and inside support staff
Qualifications
- 3+ years of B2B territory or inside sales experience; building materials, hardscape, landscaping, or construction supply preferred
- Hunter mentality — you thrive on opening new accounts, not just managing existing ones
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets
- Comfortable with both phone/virtual selling and in-person field work
- Highly organized and self-directed with disciplined CRM activity management
- Willing to travel ~50% for the Iowa field territory
- Des Moines, IA residency required (or willingness to relocate) for the outside sales component
