Job Description

The Systems Analyst – Build is responsible for supporting the end-to-end build delivery of the Deposits Management System (DMS) under the Deposits Modernization Program. The role supports the Build Lead in coordinating vendor-led build activities, core banking configuration, system enhancements, testing, and deployment across CASA and Time Deposit products, ensuring delivery aligns with business requirements, technical architecture, and project timelines.

Responsibilities

  • Support build stream closure, ensuring all deliverables are completed, documented, and lessons learned are captured.
  • Track and maintain RAID (Risks, Actions, Issues, Decisions) logs and delivery dependencies, driving follow-ups and escalating blockers.
  • Assist in the selection and ongoing management of vendors and suppliers supporting project delivery.
  • Support detailed planning activities and delivery schedules for assigned workstreams.
  • Coordinate with technical delivery teams, solution architects, vendors, and IT teams to identify, document, and manage delivery risks and issues.
  • Partner with solution architects to ensure build activities align with target-state core banking architecture and design principles.
  • Ensure a clear understanding of the technical delivery scope and alignment with business requirements, including change management.
  • Manage delivery dependencies external to the assigned scope and monitor the impact of dependency changes.
  • Ensure delivery modules have defined test strategies, test plans, and schedules covering unit, system, integration, migration, non-functional, and UAT testing.
  • Coordinate deployment schedules with application and platform owners and ensure operational readiness prior to cutover.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5–8 years of relevant delivery or project management experience in banking or financial services.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting large, complex, multi-functional build teams.
  • Direct experience in core banking and deposits modernization programs.
  • Regional (APAC) delivery experience is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with at least two core banking platforms such as TCS, Finacle, or Fiserv.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a transformation environment.
  • Prior consulting experience is an advantage.
  • Strong delivery coordination and project tracking skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong documentation skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong stakeholder management and vendor coordination skills.
