Social Media Manager (Food Industry)

Outsourcing Advantage is a boutique business process outsourcing (BPO) firm specializing in back-office and customer service support for US-based businesses. We are looking for a freelance Social Media Manager with proven experience in the food industry.

The ideal candidate has successfully managed social media accounts for restaurants, or food brands, or similar businesses and has a portfolio demonstrating engaging content and measurable results. This person should be creative, organized, and able to grow a brand’s online presence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the company's social media presence across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and other relevant platforms.
• Create, schedule, and publish engaging social media content.
• Develop content calendars and implement social media strategies aligned with business goals.
• Write compelling captions and optimize posts to maximize engagement and reach.
• Monitor comments, messages, and audience interactions as needed.
• Track social media performance, analyze key metrics, and provide regular reports.
• Stay up to date with social media trends, platform updates, and emerging best practices.
• Recommend creative ideas and opportunities to improve content performance and audience growth.
• Collaborate closely with the client to ensure a consistent brand voice across all platforms.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing social media accounts for food-related businesses.
• Strong portfolio showcasing previous work and successful social media campaigns.
• Positive client testimonials or professional references.
• Excellent content creation, copywriting, and storytelling skills.
• Proficiency with Canva, Instagram, TikTok, and other major social media platforms.
• Strong understanding of social media analytics, audience engagement, and growth strategies.
• Highly organized, reliable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• English proficiency at a C1 level or higher (written and verbal) with a slight to neutral accent.
• Availability to work during Eastern Time (ET) business hours
