Eliot is seeking a Bilingual Administrative Support Specialist(Spanish) to join our Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (MSPCC) division. You will be working with our Healthy Families program, a pregnancy and parenting education initiative designed to help young, first-time parents to create a stable, nurturing environment for their child.
The ideal candidate will be both independent and a team player having strong communication skills and an awareness and sensitivity to the needs of families from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative and receptionist support; coordinating groups and events faxing, photocopying, mail, scanning, filing, phone
- Maintain active participant paper files, open new cases and discharge closed files
- Maintain an accurate and updated client database and electronic medical records.
- They will be receiving referrals(calls and emails) and contacting referral sources and referred families
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent with demonstrated administrative and reception experience
- Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records, computer literacy
- Physical and Mental Demands: Frequent walking, standing, bending, reaching and lifting to carry out job responsibilities.
- Must have valid drivers license and reliable transportation to and from work and for providing services in the community.
- Bilingual/fluent in Spanish.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm
