Senior Equipment Engineer - Manufacturing Engineering

Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Normal Shift but expect come into support for unschedule equipment down during odd hours.

• Perform preventive maintenance on machines and maintain accurate maintenance records.

• Act as the first line of response for machine unscheduled downtime and quality issues.

• Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional departments to meet project timelines

• Provide clear and structured reports on major equipment downtime, including chronological events and systematic continuous improvement on chronic issues.

 

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

• Degree in any Engineering.

PREFERRED:

• Minimum 3 years working experience

• Applicants who demonstrate early-career level experience are also encouraged to apply especially in machine programmable language and general computer coding such as C++ etc

SKILLS:

• Strong team player with effective communication skills.

• In-depth knowledge of Automation and Control Systems.

• Ability to handle sudden changes and work effectively under pressure to restore machine operations within short notice.

• Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) is an added advantage.

• Understanding of machine software such as PLC or C++ will be an added technical advantage.
