Job Description
Oaks Cypress Lakes Resort is looking for a friendly, motivated, and enthusiastic Golf & Leisure Attendant to join our team on a casual basis.
As a Golf & Leisure Attendant, you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional service to our members and guests while supporting the day-to-day operations of the Golf Pro Shop and leisure facilities.
As part of our Golf Operations team, your responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming guests and members, processing golf check-ins and bookings, and providing outstanding customer service.
- Assisting with retail sales, merchandising, and maintaining a clean, organised, and well-presented Golf Pro Shop.
- Providing knowledgeable advice on golf, membership, resort facilities, and local attractions.
- Managing bookings for golf and tennis facilities.
- Supporting daily golf operations, including competition administration, tee sheet management, and field marshalling to maintain pace of play.
- Preparing and maintaining golf carts, rental equipment, practice facilities, and other golf assets.
- Collecting, washing, and maintaining range balls, buckets, and equipment.
- Assisting with general maintenance of golf operations areas, including the cart shed, course amenities, and surrounding facilities.
- Completing opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and general Pro Shop administration.
- Serving refreshments from the drinks cart when required.
- Ensuring Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) standards are always maintained.
- Maintaining guest privacy, confidentiality, and the highest standards of professionalism.
- Supporting the team with other operational duties as required.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll have:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive attitude with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- A willingness to work outdoors and undertake physical tasks.
- Basic computer skills and confidence learning booking systems.
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends, public holidays, and school holiday periods.
- Previous experience in hospitality, retail, golf operations, or customer service (highly regarded but not essential).
- A current RSA Certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
