Position Summary
Our Cashiers assist the Front End Manager and Customer Service Lead in executing the store's front-of-house operations, including cashiering, customer service, checkout efficiency, and janitorial tasks. This role ensures a positive shopping experience by maintaining excellent customer service standards, ensuring that common areas are clean and sanitary, and accurately executing cash handling processes. As a main point of customer contact, this position plays a uniquely important role in the overall success of the store.
Key Responsibilities
- Streamline the customer experience through fast, friendly, and accurate checkouts.
- Delight customers by exceeding their expectations with best-in-class service.
- Handle customer concerns, complaints, and service recovery professionally and efficiently.
- Follow all cash handling procedures, including counting down and reconciling tills.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and merchandising standards in checkout and entrance areas.
- Resolve operational issues quickly to maintain service levels.
- Coordinate with store leadership to support overall store operations and customer satisfaction goals..
Requirements
Qualifications
- Relevant industry experience preferred but not required
- Basic computer, POS, and cash management knowledge
- Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to make quick, effective decisions
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Knowledge of food safety regulations preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time; bend, and lift up to 40 lbs.
