AFRY Architects is based in Norway, Denmark, Sweden, and Finland, and consists of 450 architects, advisors, and lighting designers, supported by a global network. As a member of the team at AFRY Architects, you will have the opportunity to work on diverse and challenging projects across the Nordic region that make a real impact. We are currently looking for architects and landscape architects to join our projects within a wide range of sectors, and we are particularly interested in candidates with experience in public buildings — especially healthcare and care facilities — as well as projects within industry and energy.

You will work closely with our Nordic teams and contribute to the communication and development of our projects through visualizations, renderings, illustrations, and project reports. In addition, you will be involved in the design, modelling, and development of projects from early-phase studies through to detailed design.

About the team in Finland

In Finland, AFRY has more than 2,300 employees across several companies. AFRY Architects Finland currently consists of approximately 60 employees. Our team is includes architects, interior architects, and urban designers.

Your key responsibilities are:

  • Participating as an architect in our project teams
  • Contributing to architectural design and project development across all project phases
  • Developing and producing architectural models in the early stages of projects
  • Preparing visual material including visualizations, axonometric drawings, renderings, and illustrations
  • Supporting project teams with design development, modelling, and presentation of concepts and solutions
  • Contributing to the preparation of drawings, presentations, and project documentation

Qualifications

 

We expect that you have:

  • Degree in Architecture (Bachelor’s or Master’s).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in architectural design and working with Revit.
  • For Senior/Coordinator roles: 5–10 years of experience in architectural design, including strong expertise in Revit.
  • Proven experience working in project-based environments, preferably within multidisciplinary projects.
  • Excellent Revit skills.
  • Strong understanding of BIM processes, tools, and design workflows.
  • For Senior/Coordinator roles: coordinator-level competence in BIM processes and project coordination.
  • Good communication skills and fluency in English.
  • Ability to work accurately, independently, and proactively while contributing effectively as part of a team.
  • Ability to follow defined instructions, templates, and BIM practices to deliver consistent, high-quality design output.

We appreciate if you have:

  • Experience in architectural design for industrial buildings, control rooms, or office environments.
  • Previous involvement in large-scale multidisciplinary projects.
  • Experience with visualization tools such as Twinmotion, Enscape, or Veras.
  • Knowledge of additional tools such as Solibri and Autodesk Forma, especially for model review and quality assurance.
