Job Description

What you'll be doing

As a Data Analyst, you'll play a key role in supporting Finance and the wider business with reliable reporting and meaningful insights. You'll improve existing reports, build new dashboards, and help stakeholders understand the story behind the numbers. 

Reporting & Analytics 

  • Build, maintain and improve Power BI dashboards and reports for Finance and other business functions. 
  • Deliver reporting on key business metrics such as ARR, MRR, profitability, ROI and customer performance. 
  • Translate business questions into clear reports and visualizations that support data-driven decision making. 
  • Continuously improve existing reports by making them more user-friendly, accurate and actionable. 

Data Management 

  • Build and maintain data models using Power Query. 
  • Combine and transform data from multiple business systems, including Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, CRM and billing platforms. 
  • Ensure reporting is based on consistent, reliable and well-understood data. 
  • Act as the technical owner of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central within Finance, supporting reporting improvements, system enhancements, and data quality initiatives. 
  • Work closely with IT and Data Engineering to understand data sources and improve data quality where needed. 

Business Partnering 

  • Collaborate with Finance, Customer Success and other departments to understand reporting needs. 
  • Explain calculations, KPIs and data sources to business stakeholders in a clear and accessible way. 
  • Support ad hoc analyses and provide insights that help improve business performance. 
  • Stay curious about new technologies, including Microsoft 365 Copilot and AI-powered productivity tools, and explore how they can help simplify Finance workflows. 

Qualifications

What you'll bring 

  • 3-5 years of experience as a Data Analyst, BI Analyst or in a similar analytics role. 
  • Strong hands-on experience with both Power BI and Power Query is required. 
  • Experience working with financial or operational reporting. 
  • Experience working with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. 
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex data into meaningful business insights. 
  • (Near) native English and excellent communication skills with the confidence to explain reports, calculations and data to non-technical stakeholders. 
  • A proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and take ownership of reporting.
