DevOps Engineer for T-Cloud Public (m/f/d)

Job Description

Purpose

As a DevOps Engineer you understand the latest developments in cloud and container technology. You will develop and enhance our T-Cloud Public platform in a customer-oriented manner and at the same time operate what you have built.

 

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• Solve complex problems in the daily operation of a hyper-scaler's cloud backend.
• Build tools to reduce occurrence of errors and improve customer experience.
• Develop software to integrate with internal back-end systems.
• Perform root cause analysis of production errors and resolve technical issues.
• Consistently automate with common automation frameworks.
• Work in a team of specialists where everyone helps each other in an open and trusting manner.

Qualifications

YOU WILL SUCCEED IF YOU:

• Have completed studies in a technical, engineering or scientific subject or comparable professional training
• Have 5-7 years of professional experience in IT with a focus on modern cloud technologies
• Have experience as a DevOps engineer or in a similar software engineering role
• Have strong experience in Linux and container-technologies
• Are Proficient with Git and GitHub workflows
• Have good knowledge of Python and Go
• Have extensive knowledge in infrastructure automation
• Have knowledge of agile development processes
• Have high level of customer focus
• Have problem-solving attitude
• Have collaborative team spirit
• Speak English at least on B2 level
• Are eligible to work in the European Union to meet our customers' data security and privacy requirements

Salary

Final salary is negotiable.

We are offering base salary depending on seniority level and previous experience of candidate. In addition to base salary we provide variable part and other financial benefits. Base salary will not be lower than 1650 € /brutto.
