AIFM Portfolio Management – Manager (Team Lead), 12-month fixed-term contract

Job Description

As a Portfolio Management Manager, you'll lead a dynamic team responsible for overseeing critical portfolio management activities within a regulated alternative investment fund environment. This role offers the opportunity to drive compliance excellence whilst managing delegated portfolio management functions in accordance with stringent European regulatory standards.

What you'll do:

• You'll be instrumental in ensuring robust governance and risk management across our investment operations. - You'll oversee and manage delegated portfolio management activities in strict compliance with AIFMD and CSSF Circular 18/698 requirements.
• You'll conduct periodic due diligence assessments on investment advisors and portfolio managers to ensure adherence to regulatory and operational standards.
• You'll establish and maintain ongoing monitoring frameworks to track the performance and compliance of all delegated portfolio management functions.
• You'll lead and mentor your team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement in portfolio oversight activities.
• You'll collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure seamless execution of portfolio management responsibilities and regulatory obligations.

Qualifications

• You have a Master’s degree in Management, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or equivalent
• You have a minimum of 6–8 years of experience in alternative investment funds, AIFM, asset management, or a related environment
• You have strong hands‑on experience with AIFM portfolio management or oversight of delegated portfolio management
• You have a good understanding of Luxembourg fund structures (AIF, RAIF, SIF, SCSp, SICAV, etc.)
• You have a very good command of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• You are fluent in English; French is a strong advantage, and additional languages are a plus
