Role Purpose
Provide end-to-end legal support for the Bluebird Project including contract management, regulatory approvals, government liaison, risk mitigation, dispute management, and legal advisory to ensure timely and compliant project execution.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Agreements Management
Draft, review, negotiate and finalize all project-related agreements.
Manage Master Purchase Agreements, SOWs, amendments, change orders and work orders.
Track contractual milestones, deliverables, obligations and expiry dates.
Ensure compliance with contractual obligations by all stakeholders.
Maintain a central repository of all project contracts and legal documents.
2. End-to-End Legal Advisory
Provide day-to-day legal advice to project, procurement, finance and leadership teams.
Identify legal and commercial risks and recommend mitigation measures.
Support project teams in commercial negotiations with contractors and vendors.
Advise on claims, variations, extensions of time and liquidated damages.
3. Government Liaison and Regulatory Management
Liaise with government authorities and regulatory bodies for approvals and permissions.
Coordinate with consultants for obtaining and renewing statutory licenses and permits.
Support matters relating to:
Building approvals
Factory related permissions
Fire approvals
Pollution control approvals
Electrical and utility approvals
Occupancy and completion certifications
Track status of all approvals and escalate risks proactively.
4. Stakeholder Management
Coordinate with external counsels, consultants and government liaison agencies.
Work closely with project management, procurement, finance and facilities teams.
Support interactions with contractors and EPC vendors.
5. Claims and Dispute Management
Manage contractual notices and correspondence.
Prepare responses to claims and disputes.
Support litigation and arbitration matters arising from the project.
Maintain dispute trackers and case files.
6. Governance and Compliance
Ensure compliance with applicable laws and internal policies.
Prepare legal status reports and management updates.
Support audits and due diligence exercises related to the project.
3–6 years of experience in infrastructure, construction, manufacturing plant setup or real estate projects.
Experience in EPC contracts, construction contracts and vendor agreements.
Experience dealing with government departments and statutory authorities.
Familiarity with industrial projects and factory setup would be highly desirable.
Desired Skills
Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills.
Understanding of construction and project laws.
